what pelagic does
pelagic is privacy-first web analytics with built-in growth tools: cookieless visitor analytics, revenue attribution, an ai chat over your data, and ai content tools (keywords, articles, audits, ai visibility checks). it helps you understand and grow your traffic; it is not a guarantee of rankings, traffic, or revenue.
your site, your responsibility
you may only install the tracking script on sites you own or are authorized to measure, and you're responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and your visitors. pelagic's script is cookieless and collects no precise location, which is designed to make that easy, but your obligations are your own.
plans, trial & billing
- new accounts get a 3-day free trial, no card required. when it ends, you need a paid plan to keep using your dashboard; your data keeps recording in the meantime and is waiting when you subscribe.
- paid plans bill through stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. you can cancel anytime from manage billing; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- plans include a monthly allowance of ai article tokens and fair daily limits on ai features. unused monthly tokens don't roll over; purchased top-up tokens don't expire.
- if you exceed your plan's traffic volume we won't cut off your data; we'll ask you to move up a tier if it persists.
- if a charge doesn't sit right with you, email us and we'll work it out like humans.
ai-generated content
keyword volumes, difficulty scores, and visibility scores are ai estimates, and generated articles may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. always review content before publishing. you are responsible for what you publish and for making sure it complies with the law, search engine guidelines, and third-party rights.
your content
you keep ownership of what you provide and of the articles pelagic generates for you. your analytics data is yours; we process it to run the service and never sell it.
your google account
connecting google search console is optional and read-only. you're responsible for having the right to connect the property you choose, and you can disconnect at any time.
acceptable use
don't use pelagic to create anything illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive (including spam or content designed to mislead). don't send us fabricated analytics traffic, probe or disrupt the service, or attempt to reverse-engineer it.
no warranties
the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. we don't guarantee it will always be available, accurate, or error-free.
limitation of liability
to the fullest extent permitted by law, pelagic and its creators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.
age
you must be at least 18 years old to use pelagic.
changes
we may update these terms from time to time. continued use means you accept the updated terms.
